Lateral Field Studies (2024)

Lateral Field Studies considers the city as a field of overlapping temporalities, where moments of stillness emerge within the rhythms of movement, waiting, and circulation. Through recurring encounters with sidewalks, vegetation, open ground, and distant figures, the work examines how ordinary urban spaces invite slower forms of perception. Extending the concerns of A Lived Temporality, the project shifts from inhabiting a place to moving through it, expanding the practice into the experience of walking, landscape, and spatial memory.
