The Splendours examines a landscape transformed by rapid urban development, where towering structures emerge from desert terrain and reshape the relationship between the built environment and the natural world. Through images shaped by dust, haze, and shifting atmospheric conditions, the series explores what becomes visible and concealed through processes of transformation. Attending to the traces beneath the surface—soil, water, and the memory of the landscape—the work reflects on the tension between human ambition, impermanence, and the fragile conditions underlying urban change.
